A trend is becoming very popular in songs these days coz it makes songs be more catchy. It's the use of female singers by male rappers for the chorus in their songs! I've decided to point out 4 of these kinda songs that have achieved success or getting a lot of airplay around this time. Let's start with one that is a crowd favourite. It's Flo Rida's Right Round,

in which the female artist that was featured is the lovely Ke$ha.

Ke$ha was basically unknown before the song. She was not even featured in the music video of that song was released. At first even I thought she's an African American singer, until Tik Tok came out (I (L) Tik Tok). Ke$ha is also featured in another song of Flo Rida that has not been released as a single called Touch Me, in which she only sings the chorus as well. The only line Ke$ha sings in the song Right Round is for the chorus:
You spin my head right round, Right round, When ya go down when ya go down down.
You spin my head right round, Right round, When ya go down when ya go down down.
Another such song is Jason Derulo's Whatcha Say.

It is his debut single and this song features an uncredited female voice instead. But it's the voice of none other than alternative/indie singer Imogen Heap! Her voice is taken from an own song of hers called Hide And Seek.

She's not credited in the song let alone featured in the video. The line from her song and his song goes like this for the chorus:
Mmmm whatcha say,
Mmm that you only meant well?
Well of course you did.
Mmmm whatcha say,
Mmmm that it's all for the best?
Of course it is...
The next 2 songs are newer ones. Both the singers are properly credited and though the videos are not yet out, I trust the female singers will be featured in the videos as well. One of the newer songs is 3OH!3's My First Kiss from their 2nd album.

In this song, the female singer is Ke$ha again. They have already worked together for Ke$ha's song Blah Blah Blah (which i personally love)

and this time, they're collaboration is still extremely catchy, even though Ke$ha only sings the chorus:
My first kiss went a little like this,
[*kiss*] and twist [*kiss* *kiss*] and twist.
Well my first kiss went a little like this,
[*kiss*] and twist [*kiss* *kiss*] and twist.
The last song that i'd like to point out is also a favourite one. It's B.oB.'s Airplanes,

and it features none other than Hayley Williams from Paramore.

B.oB. is a Hip Hop artist and Hayley is a rock singer, yet their collaboration works wonders. It's one of those rare opportunities when different genres of music produce a hit. The Hayley Williams chorus goes like this:
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars,
I could really use a wish right now wish right now wish right now.
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars,
I could really use a wish right now wish right now wish right now.
This kind of collaborations are really catchy because listeners will get a double dose sorta thing. 2 artists in one song. Though i hope more songs like this we be released, i also hope that they female artists will properly be credited and featured in the song and music video.
