In Between The Lines

Recently, thanks to my Mak@Azlan in USM, i got to watch a Thai drama movie titled The Love Of Siam.

It's a really really sad story about teenagers and adults. Maybe i'll review the movie in my other blog but for now i have a specific song to be recommended. After passing on the movie to Junior, who fell in love with the movie and a song from the movie as well, i decided to download the OST album of the movie. The tagline of the OST is: "Just ask yourself who you think of when you are listening to love song."

N i fell in love with a song which i already liked while watching the movie but i didnt quite realise. It's called Ticket (Day Trip). The song is in mid-tempo but unfortunately the lyrics are a sad one. The song is sung by the director of the movie Chookiat Sakveerakul and a teenagers' band called August Band that is featured in the movie as well.


I really like the song and sorta addicted to it for the moment. I couln't find the Thai lyrics in English alphabet but i managed to find the translated version of the lyrics. From it u can see that it's a sad song.

Ticket (Day Trip)

You must have heard of the place that has all of our hearts' desires once we reach it

And only a single ticket is needed for multiple trips
But no one has ever returned to tell me anything about it

So I wonder if it's real, I want to see it for myself

And so I paid with everything I had just for someone to return it all back to me and say

Like I said before, I'm dedicated and will travel anywhere it takes
No matter the fatigue, the heat, or the cold, I'm not afraid
With a proud heart I will endure it all and within a short while the destination will be near
So I struggle on to reach that destination that is disappearing

It's probably is not real, a destination like that for someone like me
The ticket that everyone has, probably does not exist for someone like me
And so I turn back to the way that I came from, and there I saw someone looking at me
When I walked back, I saw that it was the same person that told me repeatedly, stressing that

This ticket is not for me even though it is sold to all
